We are now looking for a Senior Operations & Site Manager to join the growing business. You will be accountable for developing and executing the strategic global supply operation plan and optimizing the supply operational performance of the Group.

Job Description

The purpose of this role is to execute business and operations strategies in line with business plans and critical strategic pillars to deliver year-on-year growth.

You will ensure that the facility in Hong Kong is an efficient and effective workplace that exceeds the expectations of its valued employees and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing, maintaining and leading a world-class operations function, ensuring the on-time delivery of high-quality products and services to our customers.
  • Responsible for the leadership, development and deployment of motivated, high-performing operations teams, including Supply Chain, Procurement, Human Resources, and Administration and leading the development of career pathways for these functions.
  • Work with other leadership teams to promote a culture of operational excellence and a continuous improvement mindset through standardisation, technology and innovation.
  • Effectively plan and work closely with our two manufacturing sites in China to meet current and forecast customer demand.
  • Lead the management of all
  • inventory across China and Ireland by working with all internal stakeholders.
  • Manage Capital expenditure planning, people development and organisational capacity planning to deliver KPIs and handle volume changes.
  • Proactively manage a safe working environment in compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental law standards, procedures and company requirements. Intervene, correct and report all unsafe or non-compliant situations by taking action.
  • Evolve operations and supply chain management to meet the needs of MTO, MTS and ETO, including managing the operations of S&OP long term and monthly S&OP.
  • Promote and sustain the quality approach to everything we do to ensure compliance with the quality standards, ensuring compliance with ISO 13485 and MDR with a focus on improvements, particularly on energy reduction initiatives. In due course, this role will act as the Management Representative in the ISO13485 system.
  • Driving the simplification of Operation processes through standardization, technology and innovation, and the implementation of Lean methodologies
  • Lead the Supply Agreement review with other stakeholders from various service providers, manage its budget and ensure the compliance.

Requirements

  • At least 5-year experience of leading end-to-end Operations functions within manufacturing environments
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Discipline or Qualified by Experience.
  • Proven ability to drive culture change through well-embedded teams to promote operational excellence.
  • Both a tactical and strategic thinker, a natural leader who is capable of communicating with colleagues across seniority levels and functions in the business.
  • Proven track record of outstanding people leadership with a demonstrable track record of developing direct reports and teams and inclusive, high-performance work environments.
  • Strong influencing capability and demonstrable experience of influencing a range of stakeholders, both internally and externally as well as across different geographies.
  • Global distribution management experience is a prerequisite.
  • Demonstrate the application of continuous improvement techniques, approaches to quality and change management to deliver business efficiencies.
  • The ability to balance strategic and operational objectives.
  • Ability to priorities effectively, excellent time management, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to multi-task essential.
