Job Description
Responsibilities
- You will be leading a team of 6 people to develop and execute the merchandising strategy for the Fresh & Frozen food, aligning with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Manage the end-to-end merchandising process, including product selection, sourcing, ordering, inventory control & pricing
- Conduct range review and analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape to drive product assortment and maximize sales opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with partners and vendors, negotiating terms to ensure competitive cost, quality, and availability of products.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations, working closely with suppliers, quality assurance teams, and relevant authorities to maintain high-quality products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, stores, and marketing, to ensure seamless operations and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- At least 6 years of experience in food buying. Fresh food experience is a must.
- Knowledge in food safety and import requirements for HK.
- Acute market, business & financial sense with strong analytical skills
- Good command of English
